While trying to rebuild his life, successful businessman Kyle turns to the mysterious private detective Iveydee Asman in search of the truth. But the investigation sets off an irreversible chain of events in which love, betrayal and guilt permanently alter the lives of everyone involved.
SHORT PITCH
Thirty years after a tragedy that changed several lives forever, the enigmatic private detective Iveydee Asman returns to the city where it all began.
Years earlier, successful businessman Kyle is grieving the death of his mother while becoming increasingly detached from his family. Believing he has found a chance at a new life with a young woman named Christina, he is devastated when she suddenly disappears.
Kyle turns to Iveydee — an unusual detective whose ability to understand people seems to reach far beyond conventional investigation. From the beginning, Iveydee warns him that some truths cannot be discovered without consequences.
What begins as a search for a missing woman becomes a devastating journey through jealousy, betrayal and irreversible choices. The truth Kyle uncovers pushes him toward decisions that will haunt not only him, but his wife Helen, their daughter Lucy, and everyone connected to Christina’s disappearance.
At the centre of the story is Iveydee, a figure who neither judges nor rescues. He appears at the moments when people are forced to make their most defining choices — and then witnesses what those choices become.

SYNOPSIS
Thirty years after a tragedy that reshaped the lives of several people, private detective Iveydee Asman returns to visit an elderly Helen, a woman still carrying the memories of what happened decades earlier.
The story moves back to 1999.
Following his mother’s death, successful businessman Kyle finds himself emotionally disconnected from his marriage and increasingly drawn to Christina, a younger woman with whom he imagines starting over.
When Christina suddenly disappears, Kyle hires Iveydee Asman.
Iveydee immediately seems different from an ordinary detective. He asks very few questions and appears capable of seeing beyond what people tell him. Before agreeing to continue, he warns Kyle that some truths can change a person permanently.
Kyle insists on knowing.
The investigation eventually reveals evidence suggesting Christina is involved with another man. Consumed by jealousy and betrayal, Kyle begins making increasingly destructive decisions. What follows becomes a chain of emotional choices, misunderstandings and violence that ultimately ends in Christina’s death.
Kyle’s wife Helen gradually discovers what has happened. She is forced into an impossible conflict between family, morality and the truth. Although the crime remains hidden for years, the guilt surrounding it becomes inseparable from the lives of everyone involved.
Decades later, Helen anonymously reveals the location of Christina’s remains, finally allowing the young woman to receive a proper burial.
As the story returns to the present, Helen is elderly and losing her memory. Iveydee visits her one final time. He no longer comes as an investigator, but as someone who has watched the consequences of human choices unfold over an entire lifetime.
During their final conversation, the mysterious nature of Iveydee becomes clearer. People have called him many things — judge, temptation, evil, or simply the final witness at the moment of decision. But he insists that he never forces anyone to choose.
Thank You, Death is ultimately not a story about solving a crime, but about the price of human choice, the weight of guilt, and whether forgiveness can still exist after irreversible tragedy.
