Sabina Saygun
I have never liked describing myself through numbers, titles, or dates.
Stories are far more interesting.
One day, I realized that some thoughts cannot remain locked inside a single mind. That is how my books came into being.
By education, I am a lawyer. By calling, I am a writer.
I write literary fiction infused with magical realism, where psychology, philosophy, and the mystical intertwine. I am drawn not to what people do, but to why they do it. Not to events themselves, but to the forces that set them in motion. Not to the ending, but to the journey that leads there.
Behind me are dozens of novels, thousands of pages, and countless sleepless nights. Yet every new book still feels like my first.
I have never sought to convince my readers that I am right.
I simply ask questions whose answers each person must discover for themselves.
If, after the final page, you find yourself sitting in silence for a little while longer, then perhaps we have understood one another.
Welcome to my world.
